We were going to go to Irvine so we could catch a big catfish but instead ended up at Corona.

 

Somehow the fish knew what we had hopes for and they came through for us.

 

Amidst the gross of poles that we out the fish found the pole rigged for big fish.  It had 30 pound braid, with a heavy rod and conventional reel and it worked well.

 

The pole bent heavily, the drag strained under the weight of the monster fish as it pulled lustily.  But, of course, might and right prevailed and the fish was landed.
