I have finally done it.  I have wanted to but never followed through. I even tried it once but was thwarted, this time however, it worked.  Everything went as planned and the part that could NOT be planned still went according to plan (does that make any sense?).

 

I have sucessfully completed my first all night fishing adventure.  I went with Logan who slept most of the trip but still claims to have had a good time despite having catfish intermittantly dropped upon him as he slept.

 

To make a very long story very short, I ended up catching 16 catfish one of which I tossed back due to its diminutive size.  I caught TWO 4.5 pound catfish, serveral 3+ pound cats and a TEN AND ONE HALF POUNDER!!!

 

THIS TRIP WAS WITHOUT QUESTION THE BEST CATFISHING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!

 

I caught the largest fish on a very light Ugly Stick trout pole.  It took me about 15 minutes to get in the boat as I was using 6 pound test line.  The other two large fish took about five minutes each to land.

 

This was the first time I have ever had my arms get tired from fishing.  It was wonderful.
